  As members of the Capitol Business Connection Referral Network (CBC), we recognize that our success depends on trust, collaboration, and professionalism. This Code of Conduct serves as a guide to ensure that each member contributes to a respectful, productive, and mutually beneficial environment.

  1. Professionalism & Integrity

• Conduct business with honesty, transparency, and respect.

• Deliver on commitments made to fellow members, referrals, and clients.

• Represent your business and CBC in a positive and professional manner at all times.

  2. Collaboration & Participation

• Actively participate in meetings, mixers, and events.

• Provide quality referrals and leads when possible, ensuring they are genuine and beneficial.

• Support fellow members’ businesses through collaboration, referrals, and promotion.

  3. Respect & Inclusivity

• Treat all members and guests with courtesy, dignity, and fairness.

• Avoid discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate behavior in speech, actions, or materials.

• Respect diverse perspectives and encourage open, constructive dialogue.

  4. Confidentiality & Trust

• Respect the confidentiality of information shared within the network.

• Do not misuse or share sensitive member or client information without consent.

  5. Accountability & Commitment

• Honor your commitments to the network, including attendance, dues (if applicable), and volunteer contributions.

• Be accountable for your actions and decisions that affect fellow members and the group.

• Strive to be an active partner in fundraising and community efforts supported by CBC.

  Enforcement
  Members who violate this Code of Conduct may be subject to review by CBC leadership. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or termination of membership.
